1) Review the 100 Group 1 trades you've logged. What are the most important aspects of day trading?

The "expert" opinions of cable financial news analysts.

The MACD and RSI. Nothing else matters.

An aggressive approach, regardless of the situation - no risk it, no biscuit.

Deliberate practice to find trades with strong market support, combined with a focused, disciplined, and dedicated mindset.

2) How can you put the aspects from your answer above into action for successful trading?

Once I achieve focus, discipline and dedication, I'm officially a good trader and I don't need to use them again.

Make as much money in one trade as I possibly can.

Sticking to my rules, trusting my process because I've practiced it, and adapting to the current market conditions.

After my first profitable live trade, use my earnings to buy a lottery ticket and cross my fingers.

3) Why is it important to use a trade log?

Because sometimes when the river (market) is flowing strongly red or green, you need a log to cross safely from one side to the other.

Because coach said I have to, but I don't really pay attention I just go through the motions.

So I can measure my performance in a tangible format, observe my trading patterns over a large sample size, and adjust my behavior to develop a systematic trading process.

So I can stroke my ego by reviewing how much money I made, over and over again.

4) How can you minimize the effect your emotions have on your day trading decisions?

Detach from the results because they are the sparks of my emotions, and focus instead on my trading process which produces those results.

I'm a man and society taught me a long time ago that men don't have emotions, therefore it's impossible that they could affect my trading.

When hope, fear, greed, or any other emotion interferes with my trading, stop, determine what's causing those feelings, and continue on as if there's nothing I can do to avoid trading emotionally.

I'm a woman and society taught me it's ok for women to show emotions, so even if they're disrupting my day trading there's nothing I can do to change the situation.
